The conservation of unity.

Energy is restricted to its conservation per unit, per moment, of the duration of time.

Energy cannot be conserved over a duration of time, because energy cannot exist over a duration of time.

Only the factors of energy can exist over time, but not energy existing as a singularity.

And these factors of energy are known as the factors of electrical and magnetic reactance.

Reactance is where the conservation of energy breaks down into its constituent components which are not subject to conservation.

BTW, reactance is the technical term for the humanistic value of efficiency wherein we consider the application of energy to perform a service. We call this service: work.

Energy trends towards zero without ever reaching it while reactance trends towards infinity without ever reaching that.

The efficiency of reactance is not strictly tethered to the conservation of energy due to the lack of unity within the field of reactance. Only the unity of energy can be conserved.
