Free energy, a.k.a. imaginary power.

The following PDF clears up the confusing terminology surrounding “free energy”. It is not “reactive power”. Free energy is the component of apparent power called imaginary power in contradistinction to the real power component of apparent power. Imaginary power has been associated with the term of reactive watts by Jim Murray in his S.E.R.P.S. patent coauthored by Paul Babcock. Imaginary power has also been called negative watts by Micro-Cap electronic simulator.
