Ohm’s Law forms the foundation of basic electric theory in conjunction with the formulae of electrical reactance.

If we are to succeed in transcending the stranglehold which the Conservation of Energy has had upon our line of reasoning, we must divorce ourselves from, or deemphasize the relevance of, Kirchhoff’s Laws, because they are at the basis of our problem of misunderstanding free energy by misunderstanding electrical energy in general.
